Just got our puter fixed & have been working a lot lately, but I will update the blog just as soon as I can.

My Son

For the next week & a half my son will be doing some volunteer work at the area food bank. I will try to get some pictures of him hard at work. If I am able to, I will definately be posting them here.

Amandas 8th Grade Graduation

Isn't she beautiful?! In case some of you don't know, the medal she is wearing around her neck is for the National Junior Honor Society. She finished fourth in her class & missed salutatorian by a fraction, which really upset her. Her awards were as follows: A-B honor roll for the entire year ( she got three B's ), U.S. History award ( they only gave out one), the Presidential Education Award,and an award for the National Junior Honor Society as well as getting one for acing all four TAKS tests. She also got a 1 in her solo performance for band ( 1 being the highest you can get), and she got an award for being one of the only four students to be chosen to be in the All-District Band. Whew! Yea...I'm a pretty proud momma. :)

Track & Field Day

This year it was already pretty hot for track & field day, but the kids still had a lot of fun. I walked around the field with all of the other mommies and snapped some pics of my wee one in action!

A Day at the Carnival

Gene & Amanda were usually nowhere to be found to take their pics and when they were they were camera shy. I don't blame them though...they looked a little pale from some of the rides they had been on...lol. I did, however, get lots of shots of Tiffany and my niece Coral. They had so much fun!
