I think I blinked...

because my son is going to turn 16 years old on the 18th??? That went by way faster than I would have liked it to. I have no idea what to do for his birthday or even what to get him. Am I really old enough to have a 16 year old? I don't feel that old...lol. OK...enough of my rant, if any of you would like to send him birthday wishes email me & I will send you his email addy. ;)

Amanda will be going to Austin for the state solo & ensemble competition at the end of the school year. If any of you would like to go I will update when I have more info.

Finally A Post

Amanda went to a Solo & Ensemble competition today and played a class 1 piece from memory which dazzled the judges, who couldn't believe she was a freshman. Needless to say, she made a 1 and is the only one from her school that is advancing to STATE!!

Gene has been training in weight lifting in the football off season and is up to 345 lbs. in squat. Geez that boy is getting STRONG! He is also about 6 inches taller than me. I love that.

Tiffany is currently raising money for the American Heart Association. The school is participating in Jump Rope for Heart. My sweet & sensitive little girl knocked on many a door when she heard the stories about kids who couldn't run, jump, & play like most kids because they have heart conditions. It really touched her and was eager to help out.

All three of them are still making the honor rolls & never cease to amaze me everyday.

Just got our puter fixed & have been working a lot lately, but I will update the blog just as soon as I can.

My Son

For the next week & a half my son will be doing some volunteer work at the area food bank. I will try to get some pictures of him hard at work. If I am able to, I will definately be posting them here.
